FAIRS is proud to celebrate the achievements of Hesed Brown, son of Josanna Lockhart-Brown and Orlando Brown, who recently graduated from Antigua Wesleyan Junior Academy. Hesed distinguished himself as a scholar and leader, earning six prestigious awards:

• 🥈 Second Place in Social Studies
• 🥈 Second Place in Science
• 🤝 Most Helpful Student Award (one of two recipients)
• 🌟 Most Outstanding Male Graduand (one of two recipients)
• 🌿 The Sherrel Charles Future Environmental Leadership Award

These accolades reflect Hesed’s dedication, intellect, and character. FAIRS joins his family and friends in sending heartfelt congratulations. With such a strong foundation and many talents, we know Hesed is destined for great things.

Our connection with Hesed’s family goes back decades. Gaynell and David Larsen of FAIRS first met Josanna in Dominica when she was a teenager, through her mother’s ministry and feeding programs for children. Since 1997, FAIRS has partnered with Josanna’s family on initiatives including food distribution, emergency communications, and library development.

Now residing in Antigua, Josanna continues her work in youth programs and serves churches in need of pastoral support. Orlando, her husband, is also a dedicated pastor. Hesed’s younger sister, Lilyanna, rounds out this remarkable family.
