We enjoyed J79JA(JN1THL) and J79RZ(JA8RUZ) from May 18th to the 24th.
I did 2100 QSOs and J79RZ did 1500 QSOs.
Clement gave us a chance to use the club station and J79RZ used that
and I did from Clement’s house.
2 stations operational at the same time.
I brought TS-590 and AMERITRON and MFJ loaned us ALS-600 AMP.
Only one day I enjoyed scuba diving.
It was a nice way to visit J7.
7-28Mhz was OK and I hope to visit winter for 160 and 80m.
Many people want 80 and 160.
I had some problem with the air line.
Return trip to JA San Juan to Houston flight was delayed
then I missed my Tokyo flight and stayed a night in Houston.
TS-950 at the club station is not in very good condition but still
possible to use, but we need to change another and the antenna rotating system
is broken.
It needs to be repaired or the antenna rotator needs to be replaced.
Some local people will on the air. HF is best.
The scuba diving staff was interested in HAM Radio and I recommended him
to contact with Clement.
I imagine there are some who would hope to do HAM Radio.
